Hospitality Ministry

Each Sunday morning our Rudorah Welcome Parlor is a place to gather with other members, enjoy some refreshments, and get to know one another better.

We are looking for individuals or families to sign up for a month of providing hospitality. We recommend two-three dozen items (cookies, donuts, etc.), or you can bring in home baked goods. The church provides the coffee and tea.

The steps to prepare the coffee are:

• Plug in the coffee maker. 
• Insert a Bunn filter into the coffee maker funnel.
• Pour the fresh coffee into the filter and level the bed of the grounds by shaking gently.
• Slide the funnel into the funnel rails.
• Place an empty coffee pot beneath the funnel. Turn on lower warmer switch.
• Pour one pitcher of tap water into the coffee maker.
• When brewing is completed, simply discard the coffee grounds and filter.
• Pour in water only.
• When you are finished brewing coffee for the morning, unplug the coffee maker.

 
Coffee & pastries need to be ready by 8:45am so those attending the Sunday School classes have an opportunity to grab something before going to class. You will also be responsible for cleanup. There’s generally a lot of activity right after worship, so you need to plan for that.
